Supporting people in Moray with Functional Neurological Disorder

Welcome To FND Moray
We're so glad you've found us. If you're living with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), you're not alone. This is a safe and supportive space where you can connect with others in Moray who understand what you're going through. We know that navigating FND can be challenging, and having a community that "gets it" can make all the difference.
We're a group of individuals who come together to connect, share experiences, and offer mutual support in a safe and understanding space.
Currently, we meet twice a month for informal gatherings and discussions, but we're working hard to expand our offerings with more activities, workshops, and opportunities to connect.
We believe that together, we can build a stronger and more supportive community for everyone.
Many people, both online and in everyday life, struggle to understand what it’s like to live with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). The unpredictability, the symptoms that come and go, and the sheer exhaustion of explaining ourselves can feel isolating. But while raising awareness is important, so is finding joy. Living with FND doesn’t mean we have to lose our sense of humour or our ability to have fun. In fact, laughter, creativity, and connection can be some of the most powerful tools in managing our condition. Whether it’s through crafting, sharing silly moments, or simply embracing the chaos together, finding joy reminds us that we are more than our illness—we are still us.
